Ana Rizovska Bliznovski – student from the Academy of Web Design

Introducing Ana Rizovska Bliznovski, our ambitious student from the Academy of Web Design, accredited by the Ministry of
Education. As a member of her generation, with support from the Career Center, she embarked on her career path with an
internship at Semos Education. Today, she is a Web Developer in our company and also a lecturer at the Academy of Web
Design and the Academy of UX Design.

How did you decide to enroll in the Academy of Web Design?

I had been thinking about a career change for a long time, but I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. When I looked at the
program of the Academy of Web Design, I realized that it was where I belonged. I decided to take a big step and applied
for it.

How satisfied are you with the Academy and the experience of working on real projects?

I am extremely satisfied. While working on the projects, I had the opportunity to complete the entire project, from
creating mockups to building dynamic web pages. This provided me with a solid foundation for all my future projects.

Do you have a favorite project that you worked on during the Academy of Web Design?

I can’t say that I have a favorite project because each one brought different experiences and knowledge. However, I can
highlight the mobile parking application and the event organizing website (as it was the first design I created in Adobe
XD).

What was the role of the Career Center in starting your internship at Semos Education?

The professors and the coordinator of the Academy recognized my quality and potential, so shortly after completing the
Academy, I was given the opportunity to start as an intern at Semos Education. The Career Center supported and
facilitated the entire process.

What inspires you the most in your daily work?

The story behind what I design. Of course, work isn’t work without some music and singing, laughter with colleagues, and
a good coffee break. It’s during these breaks that the most beautiful creative ideas emerge.

Tell us more about your projects at Semos Education that you are most proud of.

In April of this year, my first website, the Semos Academies website, was launched. Being a mother, I can confidently
say that the love and feeling when your first product becomes a reality are as beautiful and important as the birth of
your first child. I invested a lot of effort into this project. I worked on its design as an intern, and on its
implementation as an employee at Semos Education.

Currently, I’m working on the design of the corporate website, as well as the Career Center website. Previously, I
created the landing page for the Human
Resources sector.

How would you describe the working environment at Semos Education?

Here, I am myself. I feel fulfilled because my opinions are valued, and my work is appreciated. Colleagues are like a
second family, always ready to help, advise, and guide if needed.

You were rightfully chosen as the student of the generation at the Academy of Web Design. What is the
formula for success?

Although it may sound cliché, the formula is HARD WORK. I was fully dedicated to the Academy, actively attended
lectures, completed assignments, worked on projects both in teams and individually. I minimized my free time, and in the
end, it resulted in an award for the best student.

Apart from being employed at Semos Education, you are also engaged as a lecturer at the Academy of Web
Design, the Academy of Graphic Design, and the Academy of UX Design. What is it like working with students at the
Academy?

It’s challenging and responsible. Everyone can have knowledge, but turning that knowledge into a successful project is
what matters. Sharing knowledge with students is a special experience for me. It’s a source of pride when, at the end of
the module, all students have completed their projects according to all the required criteria.

What is your message to future students at the Academy of Web Design?

Enrolling in the Academy is just one step towards success, while the path of learning depends solely on us. If we want
it, we will succeed, and each of us can succeed!
